Ice Cream Social & Kazoo Fun - July 8th
Memory Cafe held its annual Ice Cream Social, featuring all the fixings for make-your-own sundaes. We also inaugurated our first impromptu kazoo band. Assisted by friends of Memory Cafe, Bob Barrett and Rich Atkinson, we provided the Ben & Jerry's ice cream and the kazoos ! All participants were encouraged to bring their own favorite fun instruments for a great time "jamming" together.
Montpelier Memory Cafe meets the second Saturday of each month, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, at Montpelier Senior Activity Center, 58 Barre Street in Montpelier. People living with memory loss and their care partners are all invited to attend. Call Liz at 229-9630 for more details.
