Memorable Times Café
The Cafe is a relaxed social time for people living with mild to moderate memory loss and their care partners.
Welcome to
Memorable Times Cafe
…where people living with mild to moderate memory loss and their care partners gather in a dementia-friendly place to enjoy a carefree afternoon of socializing each month.
About the Memorable Times Café
Memory Café is a free event open to the public.
In"normal" times, we meet once a month on the third Wednesday of the month, but these times of social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic are far from normal. We're working hard to find ways to meet, and we'll post information here once we can safely gather for our Memorable Times Café. Stay safe, and please wear a mask!
Memorable Times Cafe has partnered with Central Vermont Council on Aging and the ABLE Library of the Vermont Department of Libraries, to hold our monthly Cafés on the third Wednesday of each month, from 1:30 to 3 PM, in the Community Room at the Vermont History Center,
60 Washington Street, in Barre, Vermont.
Participants enjoy social time and food, as well as activities and exercise. These may include art, music, dance and movement.
Please note that the Memory Café is not a drop-off or adult day care center. Each participant is expected to be accompanied by a care partner.
