Buffing Up for Spring at the April Cafe!
The April Montpelier Memory Cafe will be on Saturday, April 9th from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at MSAC. (This month only, the Cafe will take place upstairs in the Activity Room, which is easily accessible by elevator.)
Our guest presenter, National Strength and Conditioning Certified Personal Trainer Stephen Mckinstry, will be discussing the benefits and fun side of strength training. We will be talking about the benefits of strength training and its effect on keeping the brain sharp. This interactive presentation will touch on why strength training can be done every day with only a few, quick and easy strategies. Stephen is the owner of Big Whites Strength and Performance, and is a personal trainer at First in Fitness.

Steve Mckinstry is a certified personal trainer who specializes in creating customized fitness programs and plans to meet individual health and wellness goals.
Steve is a Mixed Martial Arts fighter specializing in Mauy Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Steve enjoys weight lifting, running, playing hockey and lacrosse. In his down time he works as an auto mechanic and enjoys playing with his two pit bulls. Steve's programs include High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), TRX and kick-boxing classes.
